This is a fabulous antique floor lamp/torchiere! It is very very heavy. Takes two people to move it. This came out of an estate of a very wealthy individual. It is very tall. Stands approx 81" tall! This is not including the shade! Very ornate Neoclassical design. Fabulous festoon swag pieces! Rams head design. Hoof feet base. Possibly an E.F. Caldwell or Barbedienne piece but not known. Brass Looks as though it was possibly an oil lamp at one point in time then electrified. It is in working condition. I put a bulb in it to test it. Does have some aged wear on the metal. This is not one continuous piece. There are several pieces that make this lamp. There is a point in the center that could use a bit of adjusting. Comes with a fabulous green and white glass shade. This is a fabulous vintage piece in and of itself! Has one piece of leaf missing at the bottom of one of the legs.   «Less
