This is an amazing pair of antique cast bronze hinges, made by Mallory, Wheeler, & Co., in their “Arabic†pattern, which was patented in 1889. These 4.5†ball-finial hinges feature a distinctive design of Arabic letters on a rippled background. The hinges are in good antique condition, with some wear in the center of the hinges (pictured) and some dings to two of the finials. Each hinge measures 4 ½†wide overall, 4 ½†tall, and 6†from finial to finial. Please note that since these are solid bronze, they may wear down over time if used with a heavy door and may be best as a collectible item.
