A rare form, Mid-nineteenth century Chinese Export sewing stand with sliding sewing bag, a central pedestal with three carved and gilded dragon feet, Lacquered wood and gilded decoration on black lacquer and with ivory instruments and fittings. The gilding and lacquered surface are in very good original condition. The pedestal base has been strengthened by the addition of a brass collar. 34" H. The Warren Chair Company has made exact reproductions of 18th century American Country Windsor chairs all by hand, just like the originals since 1981 in RI . These chairs are both strong and comfortable. Excellent condition. The side chairs measure 17 3/4 inches to the top of their seats, 17.5 inches deep, 16.5 inches wide and 38.5 inches to the top of their backs. The two arm chairs each measure 39.5 inches to the top of their backs, 17.5 inches to the top of their seats, 19.5 inches wide and 27 inches across the knuckle arms. .... This is a Berkey and Gay Bedroom Set from the early 1900s. It's walnut. It includes a Headboard, Footboard, side rails and slats. Vanity with Bench. Dresser with Mirror. Chest of Drawers. It is used (ofcourse!) and is sold "as is." It does need some work, such as touch-up/refinishing of the tops of some of the pieces, as well as other spots.
