Here a lavish classic Persian ‘mina khani’ or allover vinescroll trellis in various shades of terracotta, green, and ivory unfolds across the blue-back field. The pattern, like the weave, is densely worked, that the dark ground is little more than an outline underscoring the rich color of the various vines and flowers.
