Look at the details, the carving and the old wron gold leaf on the carved details. They do not need to be reupholstered. We are trained to notice these pertinent details and to educate you as well and now compare it to others that are more commonly available and see that the difference becomes clear. This piece would retail for 2000.00 in a major metropolitan antique store of distinction. The bed is slightly narrower than a standard twin bed but is the right length so you may have to dispense with the boxspring and place the mattress on thick plywood and on top of the rails to make it work correctly.
