The sides of the newel each feature a carved square at the top and bottom with a fourfold foliate design; the middle is ornamented with an elegant carved flower with leaves. This box newel post is in very good antique condition with some scuffs and chips as shown. The newel is 46-5/8†tall and 8-5/8†wide.

Beautiful antique American leaded and jeweled glass window with crackled and ribbed glass, circa late 1800's - early 1900's. The window features clear glass with varying textures throughout, giving the piece a unique charm. The design features a central anthemion, surrounded by elegant scrollwork and repeated pointed arches. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, and the wooden frame is in very good antique condition, with few blemishes. The window measures 50" wide by 18-1/4" tall, with a frame 1-1/2" thick, and the glass is 46-1/2" wide by 14-1/2" tall.
