This is a splendid pair of large antique early 1900’s metal brackets and a wide piece of 19th Century wood, brought together to make a fabulous wall-mount console table or shelf. The brackets are porcelain over cast iron, with an elegant design composed of a circle and volutes. The table features a gorgeous single-board top, made from a mid-1800’s floor joist and grooved on the underside to sit securely atop the brackets. The shelf measures 48 5/8†long, 18†deep, and 21 1/8†tall. The brackets are 15 ¾†deep, and the wood top is 1 7/8†thick.
