Large, old antique display cabinet perfect for a Cabinet of Curiosities, dark ebonized wood, highly carved with Cornucopia designs. c. 1800's. Measures 82" tall x 47" wide x 18" deep. One pane of glass is missing in the upper side right corner, that is where an antique lamp could be brought in for mood lighting or you could have the glass replaced. Spectacular case, hardware to lock it has been added at the top in case you need it for a store display. Offered for Sale: Nice Small 19th C. New England Pine Sawbuck Table. The single board table top is quite rustic and irregular and has the mellowed finish. It has been modified over the years and I removed some braces which were added for fortification. It is joined with flat head screws and square cut nails. Condition: The table is in fair condition given its age with a few blemishes, dings and scratches and gouges. There are two newer cleats on the underside as shown. There are a few stress splits in the top as shown. Someone along the way has used wood putty to fill in nail holes, gouges and screw holes to a horrible effect (all can be easily removed) as they have shrunk and changed color. The table is a bit wobbly. The table measures 34" L x 20" D x 31" H. Available for viewing at our physical store in Antrim, NH Shipping is not available for this item. Offered for Sale: Nice Small 19th or Early 20th C. New England Pine and Maple Sawbuck Table with a Single Drawer. The table top features the classic breadboard ends and is made with what appears to be a single 21" board and has the mellowed original finish. I believe maple and poplar are the secondary woods, however I am not certain. It is joined with flat head screws and square cut nails and the breadboard ends are tongue and groove. Condition: The table is in sound condition given its age with a few blemishes, dings and scratches. There is a wide split in the top and secondary stress splits as shown. There is white paint on the top and back as shown. The joints of the breadboard ends need to be tightened. Someone along the way has used wood putty on the bottom of the plank top to fill in nail holes. The table measures 26.75" W x 21" D x 27" H and the drawer is 20" W x 3" H. Offered for Sale: Gorgeous Georgian Mahogany Flat Front Corner Cabinet. The two paneled chamfered edge cabinet is beautiful in its simplicity. The piece is veneered in high quality mahogany with lovely flame figuring. Whether this is a stand alone wall mounted cabinet or if it sat on a base is undetermined. I am uncertain of the age as I am not an expert but the construction and design appear to be of the period and the nails used are hand wrought. The cabinet has reeded edge trim both top and bottom. The shelves are detailed with a cleft design and the edges have been painted black. Condition: There are a few condition problems given the age of the cabinet as shown in the photos. There are a few veneer pops, the lock has been removed, and there is a notch out of the bottom shelf. The foundation wood is probably pine and is rough cut. The brass hinges appear to have been replaced and it's probably been refinished but when this occurred is unknown. Offered for Sale: Simply lovely Country Pine Corner Cupboard. This nicely constructed cupboard is well proportioned and has a rich dark stain with painted shelves. The scrolled edges add a fine detail which terminate into a pseudo bracket foot. There is one shelf in the base behind the door which has a wooden toggle closure. The interior and shelf paint is a grayed green blue in a matte finish. The sides are constructed with single boards and it's joined with nails that are square cut and possibly hand wrought which leads me to believe this piece has some age to it. Condition: The cupboard is in good condition however there is a gouged notch out of the top as shown, however this is not noticeable when the piece is in place. Overall the shelves will need a good cleaning or re-painted. The bottom cupboard has the scent of candles or potpourri (not offensive). Offered for Sale: 19th or Early 20th C Ecclesiastical Tool Cabinet. This unusual cabinet has cross shaped panels on the doors and decorative brass hardware. There are cut-outs inside the right door which may have been used for chisels of various sizes. The cabinet also features other tool holders such as a framing square and saw, there is also a shelf at the upper left. The cabinet is probably pine. The interior in addition to its specific tool holders has black felt covering the surface (frayed in spots). The overall condition is good however it will require some limited restoration to the finish and it is missing the lock so that would have to be added. The hardware is brass with an ornate escutcheon, spherical knobs and decorative hinges as shown. A very nice storage or tool cabinet for the person looking for something a little different.
