Beautiful antique Hutschenreuther inscribed 311 with HR in a circle. Titled on the back Psyche Blessee. The plaque has a portion of the original label when it was painted more than 100 years ago. The title is in a glaze on the back of the plaque. The plaque measures 7-1/4 inches high by 5-1/16 inches wide. The framed size is 14-1/4 inches high at its highest point, and 12 inches wide at its widest point. This plaque is beautifully painted, superb quality and composition. This is a miniature painting on porcelain after the original oil on canvas painted by William Adolphe Bouguereau. The plaque is artist signed in the lower right Dahl. This is a rare composition artist signed and exquisitely painted. The plaque is in excellent condition. The antique gilt wood frame is in very good condition with carved flowers, and does show some old restoration. The plaque is perfect. Magnificent pair of beautifully painted antique gilt metal framed paintings on porcelain plaques. One plaque depicts a beautiful lady with her dress off her shoulder, she has brown hair. The other lady is blonde with a red bow in her hair and red dress. Their faces are beautiful. The quality of these paintings on porcelain is the finest you may ever hope to find. The blonde has an artists signature on the side the other one is most likely signed under the frame on the right side where you can see the signature on the other one. The original gilt metal frames are beautiful. Each frame has a high relief sculptured cherub in the upper corners. There are also bows and floral wreaths further enhancing beautiful frames. The painting on porcelain plaques exclusive of the frames measuring 3 inches wide by 3-3/4 inches high. The frames measure 6-3/4 inches high by 5 inches wide. They have an easel back allowing them to be freestanding where ever placed. They also have a ring back if you prefer to hang them on a wall in a grouping. Rare and unusual antique etching signed Bruno Heroux. Bruno Heroux was an engraver and lithographer born in Leipzig in the 19th century. He obtained an honorable mention at the salon of French artists in 1906. This etching depicts a nude man and woman in a forest scene. He is playing the violin while she admiringly rests her head on his lap and her hands on his leg. Heroux also added some music and some other drawings to this etching.
