There is a total of 9 dove tail drawers. One long, 2 medium size, 2 smaller and 4 very small. The overall height is 69 ½ inches tall by 47 ¾ inches by 21 5/8 inches and weighs 172 pounds. The back is a cream fabric with an expertly adorned needlepoint in burgandy, sage green, tan, pink and gold colors. The seat of this elegant chair is a tufted burgandy velvet with matching buttons. This is truly a beautiful chair for any occasion. We don't know the type of wood or the exact age of this chair. There is some slight wear in the finish from normal use that is shown in the pictures.
