Antique, Victorian bangle bracelet in 14k gold with diamond and ruby snakes. Made circa 1850-1880. 2 1/2 inches accross from hing to clasp when measured from the outside. 2 1/4 inches accross when measured from the inside. Will fit an average sized wrist comfortably (about 7 inches). Weighs 6.4 grams. Plain gold band with a pair of snakes twining around the band from hing to clasp, and over and about each other. One snake is set with rubies and the other with diamonds. Another diamond is set in the gap in the middle between the two snake heads and both have diamond eyes. Bangle has a safety chain as well as a safety clasp, indicating the high quality. There is a small solering mark above the hinge, mentioned for the sake of accuracy, but otherwise very good condition. Antique, Georgian torpedo drop earrings. Made late 18th century. Circa 1780. Excluding the loops, these are over 2 1/4 inches long. Drop dead gorgeous, classic Georgian earrings, made of gilt metal (not gold). A 3-leaved clover suspends a torpedo shape with moulded, scrolling sides and front and back very finely moulded with fruit, foliage and other pretty patterns. Lobed bottom in decreasing sizes, also finely detailed. While the earrings are not gold and the highly magnified ''photos show wear to the gilding, this is not noticeable to the naked eye. The earrings look great, are very comfortable to wear and considering their age, in good shape without dings or dents. Antique Georgian rose diamond drop earrings. Circa 1780. Measure 1 7/16 inches long, not including the loops. Weigh 9 grams. Earrings are set in silver with gold backs, which was the way the Georgians did most jewellery. The backs of the stones are fully enclosed, indicating the early age. The stones are in pulled settings with little pinched creases as decoration on the sides of the metal. A loop is attached to one stone from which the rest of the earring is suspended. A tear-drop shape, all outlined with a border of diamonds and one on the bottom for extra elegance. The center suspends a pair of diamonds - one small on top and a much larger one, which swings as the wearer moves. This is a particularly attractive pair of Georgian earrings that are great to wear either by day or night. The earrings are in very good condition. Ruby and Sapphire are each about 4-5mm in length. Stunning example of classic, early Victorian jewellery. A pair of intertwined hearts under a bow knot. The ring is entirely outlined with a border of rose cut diamonds, which also constitute the bow above the hearts. (probably symbolising fidelity). The centers of the hearts are set with a pair of large gems, each with beautiful, deep colour. Simple pattern on shoulders of shank. Good condition. The locket opens to hold a picture. Due to the number 13, we suspect this was probably given to a young lady on her 13th birthday. It will make a fabulous gift to anyone, especially a teenager. Antique, Victorian diamond and emerald ring, set in 18k yellow gold. Made late 19th century - circa 1880 - 1900. Approx US size 7. Weighs 3 grams. Approx size of middle stone is 3mm. Classic Victorian style with top quality workmanship and great gemstones. The ring consists of a trio of stylised flowers in square form. Largest in the center, flanked by two slightly smaller. The center of each flower is composed of a gem quality emerald. Each emerald is surrounded by small, rose cut diamonds. As is expected with Victorian jewellery, there are no hallmarks, but the gold tested for 18carats (using the best electronic tester). Good condition. Fabulous ruffled fan or accordion, twining around itself. Very sophisticated, elegant design in the form of tightly pleated ''folds'' twining like a helix and folding about itself. Clip ons - very comfortable to wear, especially for those without pierced ears. Hallmarks on the back include CARTIER, 14K and PAT number. Antique Art Deco white gold and rock crystal bracelet. Made 1920''s. Measurements: Weighs 10.2 grams. 7 1/4 inches long. Gorgeous Art Deco design combining high quality workmanship: Bracelet consists of rectangles of graded sizes joined by decorated belt-like loops. Each rectangle has a square loop by which it is joined to the next segment. There are two kinds of decoration on the rectangles: the smaller pieces with slightly concave, rounded sides have extremely fine filigree patterns. Gold studs in the design catch and play with light, in immitation of diamonds or other gemstones. The 3 larger rectangles have similar filigree openwork patterns around the borders, but the rectangular reserves are set with rock crystal, cut with a radiating, sunburst like design and set in the center with a colette mounted gem. The middle stone is a diamond (tested to be genuine). The green stones on the sides were not identified. 14k gold confirmed by testing. Good condition with no damage of any sort. Antique, Victorian/Edwardian Suffragist bar pin in enamel on 10-12k gold. Made late 19th to first decade of 20th century. Measures 2 inches long. Weighs 3.3grams. Long, rectangular with rounded ends. The surface is beautifully enamelled with flowers. A pansy in the center, often used as a Suffragist symbol because of the colours (violet and white). In this case a little more pink, but the symbol remains. Beautiful blue and white tubular morning glory flowers border the pansy, with foliage on the sides (providing the green for G). Very fine workmanship. THe colours are an exceptionally delicate range of hues and very sensitively depicted, which must have taken an excellent craftsman to produce in enamel. Good condition. Antique ( late Victorian / Edwardian ) Belle Epoque lavalier necklace made of 14 carat gold, natural zircons and natural pearls. Circa 1890-1910. Weighs 5.3grams. Total length approx 15inches. Lavalier 2 3/4 inches accross (side to side) and 2 inches top to bottom. Exquisitely fine workmanship and design. Delicate gold scrolls adorned with tiny flower and foliage shaped colettes, each containing a tiny natural pearl. Near the top and suspended at the bottom, is a larger, blue zircon (natural stone), that gives just the right amount of colour to add extra interest to the necklace. The fine and delicate nature of the piece is typical of the Edwardian and Belle Epoque era and this is a particularly fine example. Lovely quality. The back of the lavalier is hallmarked for 14k gold. The manufacturer''s mark looks like a fish, but is unknown to us. Good condition.
