Vintage 1962 issue of figure magazine. This is another magazine that was disguised as being for artists and photographers, but is really just a bunch of naked women. Most are in artistic poses, but stark naked. These are the last of the big bunch we bought. They have some stains on them so we are blowing them out at cost. They are very good quality all glossy pages which was unusual for a magazine of this type. There are in excellent condition. There were found at an old magazine distributorship where they had never been circulated. If you can find another one, they retail in the $20 - $25 range. Every one has a slim purple ink bleed along the outer edge. They are perfect on the inside. You rarely see men's magazines in unused condition like this. Under the watchful eye of Managing Editor Frank Robinson, ROGUE was a competitor to PLAYBOY. This is an extremely rare magazine. They were supposed to be pulled of the shelf after a lawsuit, but a few got out. High Society was a magazine dedicated to naked celebrity shots. Barbara Streisand agreed to be on the cover then changed her mind. They are pretty much impossible to find because of the recall. But.... these were found unused at a magazine distibutorship in Brooklyn, NY. and were never put out for sale. This is in nearly perfect condition. In a never ending hunt for publicity, Larry Flint put out this Scratch 'n' Sniff Centerfold issue. It is the first Sratch & Sniff issue published and has the first beaver hunt section. It's one of the hardest editions to find from that year.
