Vintage, estate ring. 14 carat gold, diamonds and enamel. Made circa 1940-50''s. US size 6; total diamond weight approx. 0.30 ct. Overall weight approx. 7.5 gm. Ring in the form of a fairly large dogwood flower. Pierced gallery and scrolls on shoulders. Brilliant cut diamond set in the center, surrounded by finely made stamen. Set en tremblant - moves within the setting. Diamond border. Beautifully enamelled in pinks and creams with handpainted botanical details. Beautifully crafted, luxurious item. 14K hallmark inside shank is partially worn, but still legible. Highly enlarged ''photos show a tiny bit of the enamel missing on the corner of one of the petals. Not at all visible to the naked eye. (even with my glasses, I can''t see it). Very long chain - doubled over 27 1/4 inches. Sturdy gold links, intersperced with natural pearls (10 in total). Can be wound 2 or 3 times around the head. Antique Victorian / Edwardian Art Nouveau festoon necklace. 18k gold, diamond, pink sapphire and natural pearl. Made circa 1895-1910, France. Measures 14 3/4 inches long; weighs 13.2 grams. Length of sapphire is approx 1/4inch (8mm). Classic Art Nouveau design with a central, openwork jewel that falls somewhat below the throat. Joined by swags of flowers and chains to a bow on either side, each suspending a natural pearl and followed by identical, but smaller swags leading to a flower, which in turn connects to the rest of the gold chain. The central, main section of the necklace with beautifully modelled flowers and foliage surrounding a large, pink sapphire. The top has a golden bow with a diamond as it''s knot. The bottom suspends a lovely pearl. Hallmarks on the back of the central bow, include the eagle head, used in Paris, France during the 19th century. I tested the gold to confirm it is 18k. Vintage / estate opal necklace. Possibly dates to 1920''s. Measures approximately 17 1/4 inches long. Largest opal is approx 8mm (5/16th inch) in diameter. 56 round opals. Recently restrung and new clasp (in gilded sterling silver & not gold as it says in the photo) for security. ROund beads in graded sizes, with very nice sized central gems (much larger than usually found on a necklace of this sort). The opals are slightly opaque. Gentle fire, iridescence and shine, depending on the angle that light catches them. Not outstanding, but makes for a nice first necklace. Good condition. No damage. Antique Georgian / early VIctorian necklace. 18carat gold and amethyst. Made circa 1830. Measures 14 3/4 inches long. Weighs 35.5 grams. Classic necklace. A series of faceted amethysts, foil backed to enhance colour and intensity, typical of the Georgian era. Colett set with zig-zag teeth edges. Each stone linked to the next by a few loops, allowing flexibility and movement. Deep golden colour tests for at least 18carat gold. Absolutely stunning when worn. Tongue of clasp is hallmarked - 2 oval marks somewhat worn and a rectangle with ET initials (probably for the maker). Good condition. Antique, Edwardian earrings. Diamonds, sapphires set in 18k gold on silver (typical of the Victorian and slightly later eras). Made first 1/4 20th century. Weigh 7 grams. Excluding the loops, the earrings are 3/4 inch long (18mm). The cabochon sapphires are 5/16th inch (8mm) long. Classic elegance: oval cabochon sapphires set in gold. Surrounded by a delicate openwork fan of diamonds, set in filigree silver. Close inspection shows that each ray of the fan is either one or, alternatively 2 diamonds. Backs of the earrings and loops are gold (test for at least 18k). Beautiful pattern of the gold - almost a waste to be hidden on the backs. Very good condition. Naturalistically modelled spider with elegant long legs, little pincers and a wonderful sparkling opal with great iridescence and a deep red garnet as his body. Very well made, fun piece. Somewhat symbolic in style. Oval aquamarines, facet cut and held in collett settings. Rubies, small, but of wonderful bright pink colour alternate with pairs of rounded foliage like, branches. Pairs of links allow flexibility and movement. The colour combination is perfectly balanced. TIffany, famous for choosing the best stones and for their excellent workmanship. One of the gold ''leaves'' is hallmarked TIFFANY & CO on the back (near the clasp). Very good condition. No damage/restoration found. Estate ring in the form of a leopard. Superb modelling and fantastic, artistic design - the cat winds around your finger, one outstretched paw showing it''s claws, huge roaring mouth with superbly fine detail showing fangs. Around the neck is a minutely delicate diamond collar. 2 finely set rubies form the eyes. The surface decorated with fabulous black enamelling. Hallmarks inside the shank include 750 for 18carat gold, Double C''s for Carrera y Carrera. Very good, probably never worn, condition. Original papers with information for Ring; Model Number 5276.1; Ref 133118, purchased 2 Feb ''94 (for $2600.00, which is probaby half the value today).
