Very rare blackware vase signed Alfonsita Martinez on the bottom along with San Ildefonso, Pue. The reason we are saying very rare is because we looked online for works from this artist and was unable to find anything; no auction or sales records for blackware, museum listings, etc.
Alfonsita Martinez (Roybal) is the mother of Santana Roybal Martinez who married Adam Martinez, Maria and Julian Martinez's son in 1923. Santana and Maria produced pottery (signed Santana + Maria) for approximately eight years. When Maria began working with her son, Santana and Adam (Santana + Adam) began producing high quality pottery on their own. Alfonsita taught her son, Alfonso Roybal (Awa Tsireh) to paint her pottery. He went on to become the most famous of Pueblo painters. One online source stated Alfonsita was born circa 1881.
We sent pictures to a prestigious gallery who identified it as her work and wanted us to consign the vase, Therefore, we are guaranteeing this is Alfonsita's work. The vase measures approximately 3-3/4" tall, 14-1/2" all the way around at the largest point, 2-1/4" wide at the mouth, and 4-5/8" wide on the base. The vase weighs almost 15 ounces unpacked.
Condition: We see no hairlines, chips, or cracks. To our eyes it looks to be in very nice condition overall for its age, but we are not experts in grading blackware so please look at the photos carefully and closely and ask all questions needed. There is what I would call light age wear which one would expect to see from a vase this old. I think it might need to be cleaned but we are not touching it. I just know very little about blackware. I also see a very tiny hole up close to the top that does not go all the way through. I assume this must have occurred in the firing, but again I am not knowledgeable in this area. You can see this in the very first image to the right toward the top of the vase. As you can see in the photos, there are some dark and light places and we do not know what that means. Please disregard the light reflections in the images; those were created by the camera's flash and the light source used during photography. Price does not include shipping and handling. « Less

Lovely natural, undyed red coral necklace. As photographed, the necklace measures approximately 9-3/4" long; from end to end, including the clasp is approximately 19-1/4" long. The necklace consists of 94 round coral beads that are approximately 7mm (this is the width not the thickness) and the center coral bead is approximately 9mm. As you can see in the photographs, some beads are thicker than others. The white metal beads are some form of silver, I just do not know what the content is. The coral beads are strung on some form of silver wire (again, do not know the content) terminating to a toggle clasp. I believe this necklace is in ready to wear condition. Price does not include actual shipping charges.

Beautiful pair of Kwan Yin porcelain lamps. After doing some research I believe the lamps are Chinese porcelain, considered blanc de chine, circa mid 20th century with a celadon glaze. What I was unable to find was a pair with the lattice type wood backing. This lattice style is also found on the wood bases. I believe the shades are handmade. Each lamp has a different style of finial; not sure if either is one is original. Price does not include actual shipping and handling.
Each lamp has the same approximate measurements:
Height with shade: 32".
Height of Kwan Yin: 19".
Wood backing: 20-1/4" tall and 7" wide.
Wood base: 7".
Each lampshade has the same approximate measurements:
19" wide and 13" tall.
Condition:
Lamps: One lamp has a piece broken off one of the flowers. The other lamp has a teeny-tiny fleabite chip on the edge of one flower. If I had not felt it, I would not have noticed it. There are no hairlines or cracks, however there is some light crazing. One lamp looks to have its original wiring and the other one may have been rewired due to its clear cord. Both lamps are in working condition.
Lampshades: There are a few places on the bottom edge of both shades that have wear or worn through to the lamp frame. « Less

This is a tiny ornate 10 K yellow gold and garnet ornate Edwardian baby ring, about a size 1/2 with an inner diameter of 11 mm or .45". It is marked 10K inside the shank. This a very pretty ring in a tiny size and could be used on a bracelet or necklace, as well as for a young infant. It dates to about 1910, and the condition is excellent. The garnet is deep in color, but slightly lighter in color than it appears in the photo. « Less

This is a stunning Corocraft Deco bangle cuff bracelet with blue and white rhinestones. The inside measurement is 2-1/2" x 2" and comfortably fits a 6-1/2" wrist. There is a hinge at the back which allows the bracelet to open and slip on easily. I am guessing that it dates to about the 1940's to'50's. It is in excellent vintage condition. There is just a scratch on the back of one of the round sections and a tiny flake off the plating on one of the circles on the front, hard to notice when worn.
I have the matching earrings, please feel free to inquire.

This is a pair of Chinese cloisonné covered vases from a garniture. I believe that the waisted shape is unusual in Chinese cloisonne. The main color is a blue turquoise with a cloisonné lattice pattern covered with undulating flowers. They are about 12" high, and one of the vases is slightly higher than the other. The bottoms are marked China, which means that they were made between 1890-1920. They are in generally good antique condition, and there are no cracks or dents. There are a few nibbles in the cloisonné near the base on one vase and the rims of the lids, pretty common in antique cloisonné. There are also a few chips in the enamel on the insides of the lids, which do not show when the vases are on display.
I have a couple of other cloisonné pieces that came from the same garniture, illustrated in the last two pictures. Please feel free to inquire, if you are interested. The price listed here is for the two tall vases only.

This is an octagonal Keen's Mustard tin made in England, which commemorates the death of Lord Horatio Nelson in 1805, 100 years later in 1905. It is now about 110 years old. It is about 5-1/2" high, 7-1/2 x 6. The larger panels are decorated with lithographs that portray historic scenes from Nelson's career. The four short sides illustrate Nelson's military medals: Victoria Cross, Order of the Indian Empire, Victoria and Albert Medal and Distinguished Service Order. There are some scrapes here and there and corrosion on the edges, but the colors are good, a bit darker than they appear in the photos. The ring for the bottom of the lock is missing, but easily replaced if desired. The outer lid opens and closes well, and the hinges are in good shape. There is an inner lid with a handle that is a bit tight, but in good condition. The Keen's Mustard label inside the outer lid is in good shape and shows bright colors with minor soiling. This is an outstanding collectible tin and a great survivor after 110 years. « Less

This is an Ipsen art pottery plate made in Denmark. The plate is 12" in diameter, 2" high. The grapes are bluish purple in color and are rendered in high relief, very sculptural. The grapes are surrounded by large leaves with raised veins. This piece is in excellent condition, no damage. The plate would display well on a stand or flat on a table.
Ipsen Ceramic Art Pottery operated in Denmark 1843-1955. This piece probably dates to about 1911, based on the roman numerals XI impressed on the back. This is an early mark which does not included Denmark or Made in Denmark. « Less
