Ornate '20s look sconces, pre-dating the Deco era.
A very impressive and outstanding pair of ornate 1920s Rococo style wall sconces. They are of larger size, and simply gorgeous.
The metal is brass, and they come with a slightly antiqued look. The shades are cranberry glass with a carved and etched motif.
Completely rewired to UL standards in our lamp shop with new bakelite sockets. Each socket is capable of up to 100 watts incandescent. However, when using incandescent light bulbs, we do recommend no higher than 60 to 65 watts to protect the antique glass shades from the heat. If brighter light is needed, compact fluorescent and LED light bulbs are a good alternative. These emit more light without excessive heat.
Measurements:
•Height: 16â€
•Width: 7 ¼"
•Projection: 8 ½" from the wall into the room.
Both sconces come complete with mounting kits.
Price: $632.50 for the pair, plus $25.00 for Ground Shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.

Here is a very nice pair of table lamps...definitely vintage, but it has been difficult to determine an exact age.
The lamps were cast in white metal, and have a nice "old gold" finish.
The details are very charming. The Shepherd holds a crook in his right hand, while his canine companion rests faithfully at his feet. The Shepherdess carries a jar on her shoulder, and a lamb rests peacefully below. All-in-all, this couple makes a lovely pastoral pair.
The pastoral motif has been around since the Greek and Roman times, but has been revived and refined throughout Western history. The Renaissance era produced many pieces of great art in this theme. The Victorian period also saw a resurgence in popularity of the pastoral motif.
Shepherd Measurements:
•Height: 34 3â„8" overall (including the shade).
•Width: 17" overall (including the shade).
•Footprint: 8" wide x 7 ¾" deep.
Shepherdess Measurements:
•Height: 33 ¾" overall (including the shade).
•Width: 17" overall (including the shade).
•Footprint: 7 ¾" wide x 8" deep.
This pair of lamps would work great with a wide range of interior designs, including classic Victorian, French Provincial, Tuscan décor, or even traditional Farmhouse or Country.
$863.50 for this beautiful pair, plus $50.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Sol Lewitt aquatint of a cube in a square. Signed lower right S LeWitt TP (TP stands for test proof). Vibrant colors, no fading. Acquired directly from the artist. Framed by Chester Gallery in Chester, CT. The frame measures 20 x 27 inches, the print measures 19 x 26 inches and the image itself measures 14 x 21 inches.Sol LeWitt was born in Hartford, CT, to a family of Jewish immigrants from Russia. His mother took him to art classes at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford. After receiving a BFA from Syracuse University in 1949, LeWitt traveled to Europe where he was exposed to Old Master painting. Shortly thereafter, he served in the Korean War, first in California, then Japan, and finally Korea. LeWitt moved to New York City in 1953 and set up a studio on the Lower East Side, in the old Ashkenazi Jewish settlement on Hester Street. During this time he studied at the School of Visual Arts while also pursuing his interest in design at Seventeen Magazine, where he did paste-ups, mechanicals, and photostats. In 1955, he was a graphic designer in the office of architect I.M. Pei for a year. Around that time, LeWitt also discovered the work of the late 19th-century photographer Eadweard Muybridge, whose studies in sequence and locomotion were an early influence. These experiences, combined with an entry-level job as a night receptionist and clerk he took in 1960 at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, would influence LeWitt's later work.
