Rose gold pocket watch with dark yellow gold face, black numerals and bead decoration to outer rim. The case has a very pretty design of flowers and leaves in circular wreaths. Central (blank) initials shield on the front, with a central flower to the rear. Stem wind. Hasn't been overhauled so no guarantees, but appears to run well. Beautiful large oval faceted citrine mounted in 18ct gold with outer gold ring rim. Stone is oval mixed cut. Face of ring measures 20 mm by 17 mm, and the ring size is English L (USA size 5.1/2) with an internal diameter of 16.10 mm. It has a bevelled band of 3.5 mm. Total weight including stone is 6.15 grams. Would probably date to early to mid 20th century. Gold is unmarked but both stone and gold have been tested. There is some age-related abrading to the stone, but not visible to the naked eye. Very attractive and unusual ring.   « Less

Beautiful vintage garnet bridge ring with scroll and bead decoration to shoulders. Five graduated stones, 9ct gold bevelled band. Face of ring measures 8 mm by 20 mm. Band is 3 mm wide. Ring size is English P (USA size 7.1/2) with an internal diameter of 17.75 mm. Total ring weight of 4.28 grams. Very good to excellent condition, with just normal slight wear. It has a full British hallmark to the inside band for 9ct gold, Birmingham 1978. Maker's mark is K.R.   « Less

Very attractive ladies wristwatch by Tissot. Quartz movement, Swiss made. Bright gold bracelet strap, with the Tissot T to the clasp. New battery. Strap is 17 cm long, slight adjustment there. Face of watch measures 1.8 cm by 1.6 cm. Very nice condition. No gold marks, watch case and strap tests at 10 ct to 14 ct gold, but could be plated gold. There is no sign of wear, and it would be a good thick plating on a watch of this quality. The purple backing on the rear of the watch is the remains of metal allergy patch. Solid opal bridge ring, central larger stone, flanked by smaller graduated stones. Ornate sides to the mount. This ring has been sized smaller, and the hallmarks lost, but it tests at 9-12 ct. Currently an English size J+ (USA size 5) with an internal diameter of 15.70 mm - it could be resized to a larger size. Face of ring measures 21 mm by 7 mm (7/8 inch by 1/4 inch). The white stones shoot colours of green and pink. The stones have lost a lot of their polish with age and use (opals are very soft) but have a very nice organic look. (It is possible to have stones repolished). One side stone is shinier, so possibly a replacement at some stage. Priced for their current condition. A very attractive ring.   « Less

Late 1800s Victorian brooch which converts into a pendant. It is a heavy gold 8 pointed star brooch mounted with split pearls and a central diamond. Gold is unmarked, but tests as 18ct to 20 ct. Brooch is possibly European. It has a folding bale at the rear so that it can be hung as a pendant, and the brooch pin sets on a separate bar which unscrews when the item is used as a pendant. Measurements: 33 mm diameter (about 1.1/4 inches). Slightly domed shape, with the central cluster of pearls around the diamond being a little raised. Diamond measures approx. 2.5 to 3 mm diameter. All in excellent condition. Total weight is 11.4 grams. International delivery by air courier.   « Less

Antique Silver Plate : A pair Victorian cast Moorish Design Elkington Candlesticks A magnificent pair of Victorian cast silver plate Moorish Design Candlesticks by the renown silversmith Elkington & Co. An identical pair of Candlesticks is currently on display in the Silver Galleries of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London 10.25 inches (26cm) height approx Circa : 1854 About as good as they get and by the creme de la creme of English silversmith's; Elkington & Co. Beautifully cast and unusually with cast bases rather than the usual filled or weighted base, these are solid and nice and heavy, standing well. The sticks are further enhanced with beautifully shaped bases and removable sconces/drip pans. Each has a full mark for Elkington and being Elkington lucky enough to include a date letter, these dates this pair (Gothic P inside a diamond shaped lozenge). Superb in every way and in excellent condition Bio Elkington & Co. was a silver manufacturer from Birmingham, England. It was founded by George Richards Elkington and his brother, Henry Elkington, in the 1830s. It operated under the name G. R. Elkington & Co. until 1842, when a third partner, Josiah Mason, joined the firm. It operated as Elkington, Mason, & Co. until 1861, when the partnership with Mason was terminated. The firm operated independently as Elkington & Co. from 1861 until 1963. It was then taken over by British Silverware, Ltd.. In 1971 British Silverware, Ltd. became a subsidiary of Delta Metal Co. Ltd.[1] Over the course of history it became very successful and was one of the prime producers of silver plating. Elkington received various royal warrants of appointments. One of their most famous pieces is the electrotype copy of the Jerningham Wine Cooler, at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
