A beautiful antique Art Deco pendant light, dating from the 1930’s and found in a home in Charlotte, NC. The two-light pendant features a frosted, inverted dome shade adorned with a beaded border and a batwinged cap. Above the shade is a pineapple-shaped finial composed of a molded glass body with four curling prongs stemming from its top. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites. Found in a home in Atlanta, GA, this chandelier begins with an understated canopy, coming down in chain to a loop finial composed of volutes. Below, the urn-shaped body supports five s-shaped arms that extend from the middle of the base to support two-part bobeches. The brass fixture finishes in simple curved finial. This wall-mount mail box features a rectangular front and is ornamented with a pierced nine-pane design. The sloped roof has two hinged openings, one for the postman and one for personal use that may be paired with a separate lock. A pair of arms extend from the bottom to hold newspapers and magazines. Each sconce features a round backplate made of bronze with a stylized quatrefoil design in hammered brass. Two cylinder-shaped arms flank the backplate, each supporting a bobeche with a brass foliate crown. These wall lights feature a beautifully cast iron backplate in the shape of an inverted spearhead; it's surface ornamented with foliate details and a central beaded ring. A curling horizontal band is attached to the backplate with a floral button, extending on both sides to support leafy bobeches. A decorative finial suspends below each bobeche and dangles within a four-petal bud.
