A wonderful antique mantel with beveled mirror, found in a home in Nashville and made by the C. B. Atkin Company. Dating from the early 1900's, this fireplace mantel begins with a substantial top shelf that overhangs a beautifully aged beveled glass mirror; Flanking either side of the mirror are two narrow ionic columns. Beneath the shelf, just above the firebox opening, is a carved appliqué with foliate and volute detail. A pair of smooth round columns on rectangular bases complete this gorgeous piece. This mantel is in very good antique condition, with a slightly crackled finish. The mantel measures 83” tall, 60” wide, and 10-1/2” deep overall; the firebox opening is 35-1/2” wide and 35-5/8” tall. This is a striking antique Spanish Revival five-light cast bronze chandelier, found in a home in Wichita, KS. Dating from the 1920’s, the chandelier begins with a hammered canopy, coming down in a chain to a trefoil finial. Below, five bands flare downwards to form the open chandelier body. The bands are joined at the middle of the chandelier with beautifully cast medallions, crests protrude from the center of each. Five crimped arms extend from the bottom of chandelier to hold wax-pan style bobeches with twisted spike finials; the fixture finishes in a complimentary finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition, it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 19-3/4” tall, and the fixture is 37” long overall. NC1630-RW   « Less

A beautiful antique three-light inverted dome chandelier with it's fabulous original opaline glass shade. Dating from the 1920’s, the chandelier features a leaf-and-dart bordered canopy accented with an acorn finial and three loops. A chain extends from each loop to support the bowl-shaped shade; each chain fastening with a petite rosette. The opaline shade is ornamented with a gadrooned background and foliate details; a bead-and-reel border surrounds it's perimeter. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edge. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade is 16” in diameter and the fixture is approx. 25-1/2” tall. NC1631-RW   « Less
