Victorian, circa 1870 Copeland Majolica jardiniere decorated with ochre bordered panels depicting butterflies, flowers and insects on brown ground. Cobalt ribbed ground to body of jardiniere. Pale green leaf style border on brown ground around the rim and base. Turquoise interior. Cream underside with impressed maker''s mark ''COPELAND'' and a painted mark. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Shallow chip to underside. Flakes to brown ground on the base. Cobalt ground with brown patterned band around rim and base. Four feet molded as turquoise and ochre flowers. Turquoise interior. Mottled green and brown underside with three stilt marks, impressed maker''s mark ''HOLDCROFT'', ''B'' and ''3''. Pale ochre glazed underside with vent holes, stilt marks and a painted mark. Generally good. No cracks. No hairlines. Some flakes around the cart rim, wheel and harness at front of horse. Tiny bruise to wheel at reverse. Slight wear to saddle. Restoration of horse''s ears, end of cart handles and bell on top of harness.
