Antique Silver Bust of a Bearded Man.This bust/box has hinged lid and removable cup.7 kg.+ Silver weight.Dimensions are 7 inches Tall,X 7 inches diameter at the base, and 5 inches diameter at the nose ( Circumference is 15 inches at the nose)No claims to origin, age,or period. No makers marks or silver content numbers visible. It could possibly pre-date Silver Hallmarks or silver content figures. The bottom has two small
square feet, and the front of the bust rests on the bottom of the beard.Magnet tested with no steel or iron present. It was tarnished black when I purchased it,so I cleaned it and coated with clear acrylic.I know I did bad thing, but I knew nothing about antiques then. So,sorry about that.
I want to sell, but have no earthly idea the value,so I have a larger price or not.If you are interested ,please contact me cclintonw@gmail.com , or on Skype cclintonw1 « Less

RARE SAN FRANCISCO MEDALLION COIN SILVER
DINNER FORKS
MARKED COIN ON REVERSE
Schultz & Fischer were silversmiths in San Francisco in 1857-1882. Much of their silver was completely unmarked bearing no maker's name, nor coin mark.
These dinner forks are marked "coin" on reverse so that tells you they were made in his early days , probably around 1859 ; Flatware had to be marked sterling silver after 1865..Length 71/2" A true dinner size fork seldom seen in coin silver. Six with monogram , six no monogram. The tines are not quite perfect but in a place setting will only tell guests that it is a very early Medallion coin silver set.
Fine condition no edge nicks, no dents.
