Outstanding 18th Century chippendale style table. Fine quality craftmanship on this piece as it is completely hand carved with no applied decoration. A truly incredible American piece that could be Boston Philadelphia or possibly Rhode Island. The feet and knees are over exaggerated and the curls of the toes are extremely unusual. A masterpiece of the carvers art. The top has has a couple of plugs in it probably to deal with the splits to the top. One of the feet has a bit of loss to it, the lock is missing but overall very good and ready for a home condition. Great piece about 42'' wide. Circa 1780. More pics available.
