This is a splendid antique Spanish Revival cast bronze five-light chandelier, circa 1930, featuring a shield motif. The chandelier begins with a volute loop finial with twists on the sides, below which five curled bands support finely cast bronze crests adorned with a rippled ribbon. Below, C-curved bronze bands support the chandelier arms, each of which ends in a crenelated bobeche with a shield below. The chandelier finishes in a loop finial with twisted sides. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18” wide and 18 ½” tall, and the fixture is 34 ½” long overall. NC750-RW   « Less

This is a wonderful antique Neoclassical five-light chandelier, circa 1920’s, in iron and bronze with its original gilding and polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a gold-plated volute loop finial. Below, five iron bands fasten to the bottom of the finial with green polychrome florets, coming down to an inverted dome-shaped chandelier body and curving back up to form the arms. Each arm supports a gilt bobeche with bead-and-reel detail, a foliate border, and a finial. The dome below features a green bead-and-reel pattern and a finely cast gilded finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ¾” wide and 18” tall, and the fixture is 35” long overall. NC756-RW   « Less

Made of cast iron with bronze highlights, this lock dates from the 1880’s and is the only one of its kind that we’ve seen. These are two matching antique bronze exterior door hardware sets, in Yale & Towne’s “Meridian” design, circa 1910. This hardware features an elegant Neoclassical scroll design with unusual oval doorknobs; the plates and keyholes are crowned with palmettes. Each set comes with the original split-system lock, large exterior backplate with a double keyhole, rosette and keyhole escutcheon, and pair of oval doorknobs with the connecting rod. These entry door sets are in excellent condition with a lovely patina. The backplates measure 11” by 3”, the roses are 2 1/8” in diameter, and the keyhole covers are 3 1/8” by 1 3/8”. This is an elegant antique Art Nouveau bronze door knob set by Russell & Erwin in their “De Bercy” pattern, dating from the late 1890’s, with their connecting spindle and set screws. These R&E doorknobs feature a flowing, asymmetrical design of vines and flowers with an egg-and-dart border. The doorknobs are in very good antique condition with some wear at the base of each knob (pictured), which is not visible when the knobs are installed.
