Delightful pair of antique Neoclassical single-arm sconces, circa 1910, in their original, nicely aged, silver plate over brass. These wall lamps feature an elegant backplate with volutes, descending foliate details and floret accents. An S-shaped sconce arm extends out from a gadrooned urn, supporting a silver plated bobeche with leafy embellishments. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace it with a new one if desired. The sconces measure 4-1/2" wide, 10-1/2" tall, and project 7-1/4" from the wall.
