Antique English Staffordshire Majolica: A Joseph Holdcroft novelty bear Jug. C.1875 A good English Staffordshire Antique Majolica novelty pottery Jug by Joseph Holdcroft naturalistically modelled in polychrome colours with a bear supporting a drum on his back hold two drum sticks, the handle in a cobolt drum strap Turquoise interior. Green underside stilt marks and a painted cobalt mark.
