For your consideration is this lovely, colorful painting signed Vicente Dopico Lerner (1945). According to information obtained online, Lerner was born in Havana, Cuba in 1945 and has lived in Miami and throughout the Caribbean since 1965. He is the former director of the Cuban Museum of Art and Culture in Miami. He is an award winning artist with the most prestigious coming in 1976 and 1979 respectively: the Cintas Foundation Fellowship and the Society of fine arts.
The painting measures approximately 20" x 16" with a viewable image of 19-1/2" x 15-1/2". The artist titled the painting, "Expresion Presente" or translated, "The Expression". The artist's name also appears on the back of the canvas and is signed at the bottom right, Dopico Lerner. The lovely oak frame measures approximately 25-1/4" x 21-7/8". I am not sure if the medium is oil or acrylic.
The painting and frame are in excellent, ready to hang condition.
