Two matching antique Neoclassical single-arm sconces in their original silver plate finish, dating from the 1920s. Salvaged out of Chicago, each sconce has a domed oval backplate with one embellished arm curving up and supporting a foliate bobeche. The chandelier arm is bracket-like in appearance with floral, leaf and scrolling details, finishing off in an acorn finial. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure approximately 4" wide, 12" tall, and project 5-1/2" from the wall.   « Less

Two matching antique two arm Spanish Revival sconces, dating from the 1920s and signed by their maker, Chapman Lighting Studios. Each iron sconce is crowned by a harp with foliate details; below is a backplate with fluting, ribbon swag, and a center rosette. Projecting from the middle of this flower is a shield plate that extends out on both sides to become two sconce arms. Each arm supports a lotus leaf bobeche while scrolling foliate vinework balloons up to surround each light. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. Two matching antique Gothic Revival double-arm sconces, salvaged from a Chicago hotel and dating from the 1920s. These hand-forged iron sconces feature a concentric oval backplate with a leafy crown also repeated at the base of the fixture. A horizontal band is attached to the backplate with a floral button, stretching out on both sides to support sconce arms with decorative trefoil bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a gorgeous original polychrome finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all necessary attachments for modern installation. Gorgeous pair of antique Adam style single-arm sconces, in their original silver plate over pewter. Made by Empire, circa 1910, the sconces feature a beautifully detailed shield-shaped backplate, crowned with an urn and bordered in foliate detail. A leaf-detailed arm extends from the bottom of the backplate, supporting a silver plated bobeche with a geometric pattern. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Three matching antique single-arm Neoclassical sconces in their original silver plate over brass, circa 1910. Each sconce features a simple silver plated backplate with a beveled border. The sconce arm extends from the center and is ornamented with a foliate design and a volute border. The arm finishes in a simple bobeche with a dangling tassel finial below. (Please note that, despite what is shown in some of the pictures, the tassels do hang correctly when the sconces are installed.) Incredible pair of three light bronze sconces with gilded accents and original glass shades, dating from the 19th century. Each wall lamp features a gilded wreath backplate that extends out to a downward facing steeple-like body that ends in a foliate finial. The upper body features gilded Gothic details with three arched arms extending up and out to support original glass shades. The downward-facing shades feature gadrooning and scalloped edges. These sconces are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges; they have been professionally rewired and come with all necessary attachments for modern installation. These wall lamps feature an iron diamond-shaped backplate with a hammered texture and scrolling foliage and husk details. Above the backplate, a latticed candle cover extends up over the length of the candle, and is crowned by a bronze shield embellishment.
