This is a fantastic pair of antique exterior wall-mount lanterns with slag glass, dating from the 1920’s. These exterior sconces have a rectangular cast iron backplate with an arrow border; a squared arm supports a lantern with a steeply sloped roof. The four-sided roof features triangular copper vents. Each side of the lantern is ornamented with a whimsical copper urn reminiscent of Aladdin’s lamp, ornamented with a vine design, with a slag glass background. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The porch lights have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 10 ¾” tall, 4 3/8” wide, and projects 8 ½” from the wall. A beautiful antique Neoclassical four-light chandelier in iron and bronze, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a loop finial connected to six iron bands, which curve down to form a teardrop shape. A crenelated platform in the chandelier body supports four lights of varying heights. Bronze leaves, with traces of their original green finish, overlay the iron bands from underneath, and the chandelier finishes in a dangling red tassel. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A fantastic antique Art Deco skyscraper pendant lights, dating from the 1930’s, with an unusual two-piece shade. The chandelier features a stunning white glass skyscraper shade, ornamented with abstracted overlapped leaf shapes. The bottom of the fixture has a clear prismatic shade that has turned a gorgeous purple color due to sun exposure (sometimes called “sun purple” glass). This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. An unusual antique Arts & Crafts door hardware set with a triangular arch, dating from the early 1900’s. The set includes the doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, and a pair of doorplates. The backplates feature a triangular arch divided in thirds, with three panels at the bottom of the plate. The door knobs have a fivefold design of two concentric circles connected by five spokes. This door hardware set is in very good antique condition; it has a nice patina with an aged texture. Each doorknob is 2 ¼” in diameter and 2” deep; the door plates are 2 ½” by 7 5/8”. This hardware can be used with either one of our modern latch sets or an antique mortise lock. NDKS52   « Less
