A wonderful set of antique Arts and Crafts chrome door hardware, circa 1910. This set features squared backplates with squared-out corners and a rectangular raised center panel, and doorknobs with a simple design of concentric circles. This is probably either Sargent’s “Lepanto” design or Reading Hardware’s “Epirus” pattern, both featured in the companies’ 1910 catalogs. This door hardware set is in very good antique condition with some minor wear to the plating (see photos). Each doorknob is 2 ¼” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep; the door plates are 2 ½” by 7 ½”. The set includes the doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, and a pair of doorplates. This hardware can be used with either one of our modern latch sets or an antique mortise lock. Antique Arts and Crafts nickel plated door hardware sets, dating between the early 1900’s and the 1920’s. The doorplates feature an arch on both the top and bottom, with a beveled border; the border on the doorknobs matches the plates. Normally, silver-tone hardware was used only in bathrooms, so it’s a rare treat to find four matching sets. The nickel plating is in remarkably good condition on this hardware, with just some minor scratches and bubbling on a couple of the plates. This hardware has been lacquered to protect the finish. One set of knobs is slightly different from the others, without a ridge around the perimeter of the knob. Each plate is 8” by 2 ½”; the doorknobs are 2 ¼” in diameter and 2” deep. An unusual antique Colonial Revival cast bronze eight-light chandelier, dating from the 1930’s or 1940’s. This figural chandelier features a stylized motif of bearded men’s faces. The chandelier features a substantial baluster body, with eight faces surrounding the top and a second row of faces at the base of the chandelier arms. Eight S-curved chandelier arms extend from the body, accented with acanthus detail. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a beautiful antique Tudor door, early 1900’s, with a round stained glass window. The window features an amber flower with green leaves and cobalt blue accents, on a clear granite glass background. Below, the door has a small shelf with dentil molding, and a combination letter slot and doorknocker. The door finishes in three vertical panels, each curved at the top to echo the shape of the round window. The door is in very good antique condition with some minor chips and peeling paint (pictured). The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. This is a gorgeous pair of antique Neoclassical mirrored sconces in their original silver plate, c. 1910. These double-arm sconces feature an arched mirror with a finely beveled edge, bordered on the lower edge in elegant acanthus leaves. A column-like arm receiver bowl at the base supports two smooth, silver plated arms with clear glass bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The Charles Parker Co. manufactured furniture, lamps and other wood and metal objects in Meriden, Ct. from 1877 through the early 1900’s. This is a lovely Walnut Piano Stool in exceptional condition. It has a lovely patina; the finish is wonderful. The height adjustment mechanism is in great working order; the stool swivels smoothly and the legs are sturdy. • Stool seat is approx. 15” in diameter, with a gently rounded, bevel carved edge. • Height is approx. 19” (adjustable by turning the stool). • Four ornate ring-turned legs with ring-turned stretchers. • Each leg terminates in nickel silver toned cast iron claw feet; each claw-foot clasps a crystal ball.
