This is a striking pair of antique double-arm sconces made of iron and brass, dating from the 1920’s. The sconces feature a simple brass backplate with an arch at the top and bottom, accented by a bold black border. An iron arm, ornamented with leaf detail, runs across the backplate and curls at the ends to hold foliate bobeches with acorn finials. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces are 8†tall, 8 ½†wide, and project 3 ½†from the wall.
