This all original breakdown cupboard comes apart in 7 pieces and can be carried to the most unusual spot in the house where not many other pieces can go through. The wood is oak and the assembly is easy and held together by (2) wooden pieces tapped into the main frame. It has a shelf at the top with rod for cloth and (2) bottom drawers with wooden knobs. Must be seen to appreciate its beauty and design. Measuring Height 78 1/4" X Length 49 1/4" X Depth 17 3/4". It has a small raised leg around with a design along the 2 sides and the front. It also has (2) drawers below the doors. It has a skirt that has the piece set to the floor. The inside of the cabinet is original wood in different kinds of wood to set the inside off in the pictures provided on site. The cupboard measures Height 52 1/4" X Length 38 1/2" X Depth 15 1/2". The inside of the shelves start from top to bottom 11" 12 1/2" 14 depending on what you want to place on the shelves. The left side is the bookcase with (3) removable shelves with a super fancy back splash the go down to a pillar to the right to support the top shelf to set things. It has all its original hardware followed by a beveled mirror sort or round the edging around the mirror is extra fancy in detail. It has a drop from desk to write with pigeon holes with a small drawer in the center in a Birds Eye Maple. Below the drop front desk is a drawer with wooden knobs and below that is a door that locks with open space. The legs go from the whole side down to the floor. This beautiful solid cherry cupboard is one piece. This cupboard is approx. 50 years old and was made by a craftman. It has a 6 panel glass - 1 door top with a grove for plates to stand in the back. It has a drawer in the center 26 1/4 Length x 6 1/4 " wide the depth on the drawer is 5 3/4". The bottom has 1 door with 2 blind sectioned panels the open space below. The hinges and knobs are copper. The top has a fancy molding and the legs at the bottom are curved with a design to make the corners. The cupboard was well taken care of by a one owner that had it made to their specks and was down sizing. The cupboard measures Height 79 1/4" X Length 32" X Depth 20 3/4". The color is the age look of cherry which still has a golden hue in the wood with the cherry cast.   « Less

Very unusual beautiful piece. Large antique wooden ice box with decorative hinges and scrollwork design along the bottom panel. Four doors open to metal cupboards inside. Tag on the back of the ice box indicates it was made by John Prtizlaff Harware Co. so I'm estimating it was made between 1900 and 1930's. It was originally used so some of the doors stick alittle, paint is chipped on the inside metal cupboards, wheel is missing from the front right corner and the top seems slightly warped. Otherwise in pretty good condition for its age. Ice Box is 40" wide by 54.25" tall by 20.25 "deep. Cleaned up and restored this would be real conversation piece. Definitely a diamond in the rough. Circa 1900 Arts and Crafts/Mission cellaret cabinet, Hersee & Co, Buffalo, NY, tiger/quarter sawn solid oak, round edge upper double doors over pullout copper mixing/work surface, double paneled lower door, interior shelf, original locks with mission drop pulls. 50.5” tall, 23.5” wide, 14.5” deep. Condition – excellent restored original finish, missing original revolving bottle caddy on bottom shelf, some holes drilled in back for electronics. 225 - Hersee & Co was a prominent Buffalo, NY furniture company of several generations of the Hersee family. - The photo of the bottle caddy is an example from another identical cabinet, this cabinet has the bottle caddy on the right side-the original hole and four glides can be seen.   « Less
