Pink glass divided bowl held in a gilt metal mount with figural mask feet and a nude figure of a woman on the handle.Measures 8 1/2inches high, 9inches accross at widest point and bowl is 7inches in diameter.Pink glass is divided into 3 sections and has starburst cut into the underside.The reticulated openwork gilt metal mount is further decorated by fine etching. Stands on 3 figural mask heads - each with open mouth and scrolling foliage. Extremely fine detail to faces. The Rococco handle, also in the form of scrolling foliage and vines supports a gilded nude figure of a woman, her hair swept up above her head, one hand outstretched as though to balance herself. Highly reminiscent of the hardstone figures made by Faberge 100 years ago. Early 20th century hand blown glass figure of a musician / trumpetplayer. Bohemian / Chechoslovakian. He is 8'' tall and the diameter of the base is 2 3/4''. Fantastic OLD glass with marvellous play of light. All handblown, handmade by a top artist craftsman. The base is green, much like a millifiori paperweight. Black shoes, grey trousers, yellow shirt, red scarf, high green hat and wonderful, wonderful features. The trumpet / horn appears to have had some kind of professional restoration, not visible to the eye, but has a slight roughness, near the hands, which are however, perfect. Wonderful bushy moustache and eyebrows. The detail is quite marvellous and the quality of glass exceptional. Signed bronze and gold card tray / dish with sculpture Native American head & feathered headdress. France late 19th early 20th century.Dish itself Measures 4X3 1/8inches, excluding the protruding head. Total measurements are 4 1/4 X 4inches. Tray is rectangular, made of bronze in a rich brown. Sides curve up and the top and outside is richly gilded. Over half the tray is covered by a gilded relief sculpted American Indian (Native American) head, seen in profile. The modelling is outstanding with high cheekbones, a strong, curved nose and downward looking eyes. He wears fabulous jewelry, including hooped earrings and disks hung from his headdress. The huge feathered headdress shows off each feather and it''s details.Engraved signature H.B.Excellent condition. Enameled cabinet vase, Limoges France, 19th century.Measures 4 1/4inches high. Metal with bright blue enamel. A central reserve in front is formed by wonderfully gilded flowers and scrolls that stretch all the way around the vase. The Reserve has a background of light/sky blue and depicts two outstandingly painted cherubs/children, looking into a mirror. Delicate flowers and trees behind them.No signature/marks.The painting and gilding are in very good condition. The darker blue enamel ground appears to have been restored near the top, since the colour is darker, as clearly shown in the photos. Otherwise, no damage. Hilarious comic figure, brilliantly portrayed with his stick and slippers.Underneath are German factory marks and signature. The factory is Max Roesler from Rodach, a town in Germany. Vintage dresser / vanity set, dating to the early 20th century. Consists of openwork gilded brass, glass and pearl colored beads, mirrored tray, picture frame and jewelry / trinket box. Measurements: tray 7 3/4inches long and 5 1/2inches wide. Frame 5 1/4inches high including decoration on top and 4 1/2inches wide including extra decoration. Box is 2 1/8inches high and 2 1/2inches diam excluding extentions for opening and hinges. Superb brass openwork on all 3 pieces. The mirror is surrounded by a curving gallery of swags of flowers and leaves. ON either side are handles in the form of ornate bows. the frame is ornately engraved and chased. Around the top is has a complex arrangement of flowers, each inset with a pearl-coloured bead, one of which is damaged (upon close inspection). The frame has a velvet backing and can stand alone. The little box has a bevelled glass lid and stands on 3 bun feet. It has magnificent floral and scrolling openwork on the sides and an elaborate gilded thumb piece. Even the little clasps that hold down the glass are very pretty. Condition of all three pieces is excellent with the exception of the one damaged bead. Porcelain open salt trench from the 19th century with handpainted seaside beach scene, including a couple in Victorian swimming suites. Probably English.Measures 3 3/4inches long; 2 1/2inches wide and slightly over 1inch high.Rectangular with rounded corners and scalloped sides. Burnt orange and white.A couple run towards the sea, kicking up the sand as they dash along. Both are wearing shoes and stockings, he has a monocle in one eye and a huge handlebar moustache; she wears skirts and a bonnet. Behind them are a number of beach tents, people, some ladies in more conservative Victorian dress and all the atmosphere of a happy seaside resort. There are no marks. Condition is very good.
