Incredible pair of antique bronze double-arm sconces with ship scene, dating from the early 1900's. The sconces feature elaborate scrolled, floral and rope details. The backplate has a beautiful nautical scene of a ship with an angel figure sail. The sconce arms extend from the top of the scene and support decorative bobeches. The fixture's original polychrome finish is found throughout in colors of red, yellow, blue and green. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A tasteful pair of antique double-arm brass sconces, dating from the 1920’s. The backplates feature triple beveled border and fluted details. Two fluted arms curve out from the bottom of the backplate, each holding a simple bobeche. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition with some tiny dents in the backplate, which are barely noticeable. Pair of fantastic antique English Tudor exterior lanterns with crackled glass, dating from the 1920's. Suitable for either interior or exterior use, these sconces feature a fabulous hammered texture throughout. Each fixture has a round backplate with a scrolled bracket extending out to the sloped roof with strap design. A figural dog's head crowns the top of the roof. Below, the lantern features a crackled glass cylinder in a hammered body with whimsical curved panels. These fixtures are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in very good condition with the expected fleabites around the edges; there is a small hairline crack near the base of the fixture as pictured. A fascinating single-arm figural sconce in its original polychrome finish. Dating from the 1930’s, this Art Deco sconce features a green geometric backplate with a ziggurat at the top and a three-dimensional man at the bottom. The man has a geometric face and torso, with arms that come out to encircle the bobeche. The bobeche ends in a zigzag finial. This wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. An amazing pair of antique double-arm Spanish Revival sconces in cast iron, dating from the 1920’s and retaining their original polychrome finish. The backplate of each sconce features a crown at the top, with blue fringed swags below. The middle of the backplate is ornamented with a large shield crossed with a red band and accented with blue fleur-de-lis. Hammered iron sconce arms support bobeches ornamented with a torsade border and polychrome volutes, with a crest finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. These large sconces each feature an oval backplate with a flower-like center surrounded by a guilloche border. The body of the sconce features exquisite casting, with trefoil and quatrefoil detail, and elegant foliate finials at the top and bottom. The triple arms feature amazing detail with cutouts and leaf detail. Each arm supports a crown-like bobeche with a cutout trefoil border at the bottom and projecting trefoils at the top, with a foliate border at the center of the bobeche, supporting the light.
