It has an illusion of a light cream color and when you brush it in opposite directions it is a tan. The wood has no cracks or chips and it is very solid and sturdy and comfortable to sit on. This wonderful old rocker has been painted a rich chocolate brown and features a lovely hand-painted floral design. On the front of the seat and the back are yellow and light red flowers with green leaves and yellow accents. The legs and arms are accented with black and gold to match the trim on the back. The rocker has a very nice shape and a very comfortable size seat. The chair is in good condition with some wear on the finish and small cracks in the wood. It measures 39 1/2" in height, 22 1/2" from side to side, and 42" from front to back. Weight is 20 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. SHIPPING.
