Circa 1770 Chinese Export Armorial Tea Cup with a monogrammed initial of M under the crown. This finely detailed armorial is magnificent not to mention the beautiful spearhead border on the inside of the cup. we recently purchased many pieces of this same initial and crown out of a estate in Florida. As you would expect on dainty pieces of porcelain over 225 years old, it is almost impossible to find a perfect piece. Of all the pieces this one is in the best condition with only a minimal tiny nick at the rim as shown in one of the images. This little nick is far away from the beautiful crown and gilded rim on the outside and a beautiful blue spearhead border in the inside. Hardly any gilt wear to speak of. The monogrammed initial has very little wear. The only wear on the rim is at the nick. this cup measures 2" in height and 3 1/8" in diameter.   « Less

Circa 1770 Chinese Export Armorial Saucer with a monogrammed initial of M underneath the crown. The saucer has a hairline between the crown and the initial on both sides. The hairlines measure less than 3". The hairline does not interfere the crest or the initial. There is very minor gilt wear on the rim from being used over the years. The crown has no wear at all and only slight wear on the initial. The saucer measures 5" in diameter and is 1 1/4" in depth.   « Less

The hairlines on the cup are on the inside and outside not interfering with the crest. Their is also some gilt wear on the rim from being used over the years. The crown on the cup has no wear at all. Circa 1820-1840 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin TWO coffee or Demitasse cups. The design on both are identical as is the Very Best Quality. Their is a slight difference in the height as you can see in the images. We have marked them A (left) and B (right). One is 2 1/4" and the other is 2 1/8" in height. These wonderful cups have no saucers are finely identically decorated with figures painted in Canton famille rose enamels and gilding from the early 19th century. Both of these cups are of very good quality with no damage or restoration at all.   « Less

The Diameter at the top opening 4 3/8" This mug is in very good condition for a piece of porcelain that dates from the early 18TH Century. This Large Tankard is decorated in the typical Chinese Imari colors. Very Good Quality. Condition: Small restoration at base of handle only, 'star' crack near base. Their is a brownish mark on the top rim which is shown. This is not a restoration, but in the making. This mug has a nice border at the base, which compliments the border on the outside at the mouth of this wonderful mug. A great addition to a mug collection. What a display these three identical with the exception of size Chinese Export Mandarin Palette Mugs would be. Fresh out of a Washington D.C. Foreign Service Officer's Collection. All three of these mugs must have been decorated by the same artist. In addition to listing these mugs as a set on our web site we also have listed them individually, BUT I would prefer not to break this threesome up as they have been together for a long time in a vast chinese export collection.
