Genuine, vintage Giancarlo Mattioli Nesso Lamp designed for Artemide in bright orange. Originally designed in 1967, this modernist lamp is made of orange injection molded Abs thermoplastic. Pre-owned but in very good condition and working order. Measures about 21 inches in diameter and 13 inches in height. With offical stamp and paper label on base. The Nesso table lamp, part of the Artemide Modern Classics line, was designed by Giancarlo Mattioli / Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Citta' Nuova in 1967. It features a body and diffuser in injection-molded Abs thermoplastic, available in white or orange. Uses 4 X 25W max candelabra base incandescent bulbs (not included). The Nesso has achieved international acclaim: Represented in the Twentieth Century Design Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Included in the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Permanent exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, Colorado. Represented in the Israel Museum, Jerusalem . Permanent exhibit at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs de Montreal, Montreal.
