Grey pewter finished single light pendant with amber inserted glass window. Pewter finish, this fixture is perfect for a smaller room. Measures a mere 10” in overall height, while it has a diameter of 11 1/2”, which is the metal shade’s diameter. It is lit by a single standard socket within that will accept a 100 watt light bulb. We did not power it up for pictures as too strong of bulb blows out the focus of our camera lens. We always use small 25 watt or lower bulbs in our pictures so the detail of the light fixture itself is revealed. The amber glass window is simply so iconic with it’s circular ring motif. Very nicely done, as the pictures will show. We completely re-wired this wonderful light to UL standards. We will include a bulb extender, as shown, but you could also shorten the light a little by shortening the chains that suspend the bowl. Might wish to do that to reduce visibility of the center a mite, although for age and favor it is often deemed favorable to see that. Older Gothic, low ceiling, lighting fixture. At this time, only one of these are available and we are very pleased with its condition. This last fixture is only available with amber mica panels, not glass. Please see the last picture for an example of what the mica panels would look like. Circa 1920-40, the amber glass panels are in great shape. The steel frame is in nice condition, with just the right patina. Measurements: This hexagonal fixture measures 10 1/2” wide across the flats, and 14 1/2” across the points. The fixture is a mere 12 1/2” in height. Each fixture contains three light bulbs. Here is a California compliant UL lighting fixture originally from the mid 50’s, but now rehabbed to be current to UL and CA use standards. These fascinating fixtures were often under-lit with either one incandescent light bulb, or a series of small chandelier bulbs. We have changed those incandescent fittings to one GU-10 fitting, as required for energy savings in California and now becoming a standard for rehab and new construction. This fixture now proudly presents a 27 watt LED SMD bulb giving about twice the light as the original did, but for nearly ¾ less electricity. Now that’s energy savings!! A UL label is affixed to the fixture. The light itself is a series of three graduated circular disks held in a staggered frame. In between each layer, there is an acrylic spacer for the light to illuminate each disk. Quite a fascinating light that pairs well with the glowing LED bulb. You do receive the 27 watt LED bulb that is shown in the fixture. Replacement LEDs (when it finally burns out in thousands of hours) can be purchased from us. ANT-522 American Large 16" Hanging Bowl Fixture...One of Four Large bowl fixtures (16"+) are harder to find than 10 to 12 inch models, and this large 16" example is very nice indeed. Circa 1920 - 1940. It is one of four identical fixtures taken from the same home...so at this time...you can order up to four of these. (UPDATE: Zero in Stock) They have all been re-wired in our UL shop, and will come with all the mounting hardware. Each fixture has one socket, easily good for 100 watts. Bigger bulbs could be used, or they could be rewired for a cluster of three bakelite sockets for a small additional charge. We just kept it original to the one socket format. The embossed decorated shades are in good condition for their age, with very few signs of wear. But then, these are true antiques, and new condition is just not here. Normal aged appearance. The color could be described as buff or tan, and when alight, the embossed designs just bounce out for an impressive presentation, which you probably can see in the pictures. The metal fixture is pewter finished, and it mounts to an electrical box with a UL crossbar and the two screws that can be seen in the picture. Turn of the Century Five Light Edwardian Low Ceiling Chandelier Cast iron fixture with an original pewter finish. The reticulated design is quite striking, giving a very Arts & Crafts motif. But, this could also be blended into a Gothic scene quite well. This design does cross over different decorative aspects. The amber shades are a nice touch, and are near-perfect condition. Measurements: * Diameter: 17" overall, from shade-tip to shade-tip. * Height: 9 ½" from the ceiling to the bottom of the shades when installed. Note the very rustic center and finial.
