Fantastic matched Pair of Heisey Colonial candelabra are in super condition. These are a convertible set and can be arranged for one or three lights, simple or loaded with colonial crystals. These are tall, 20" high, 13 1/2" wide. Each over sized, scalloped edged bobech hangs 10 heavy leaded, colonial crystals for a total of 30 each candelabra! All 60 crystals are original and match in size and length, two prisms may have some wear on the very tip, very, very minor. As with most Heisey candelabra, there is no mark. "Silver" collars are in perfect condition, bases are heavy with slight scratches, no chips, arms are mint, overall these candelabra are rated excellent. We don't know too much about Heisey, but we know what we like. This unusual, single Heisey candelabra is marked (diamond H), has three arms and a center. We've searched and four light Heisey's seem to be rare. Old Williamsburg style bobeches and arms, but the actual candle holders are different - more stylish. The entire effect is modern and Victorian together. It's terribly good looking! Tall and heavy, stands 21 3/4" tall. Alas, if you love it, you have to love it warts and all. Sometime, long ago, someone didn't have access to a new ferrule and filled in the base with what passed for "Liquid Nails" about 60 years ago. Arms still come out. Slight scratches in this old glass, but nothing repugnant. If you have apathy for Heisey, like we do, all this striking piece needs is some TLC. Good condition--no chips, cracks or repairs--on this antique, early Victorian brass candlestick circa 1850. As shown in the images, this candlestick holder has a wide pedestal base and striations on both the top and bottom sections. In addition, the candlestick retains its original internal push-up which is in good working order. Nice Victorian piece for use and display. Dimensions: 4.75" T. Porcelain candle holder shaped as a fan with hand painted decoration of flowers and leaves. Rope detailing from the handle, gilded highlights. It has its own little porcelain snuffer, which sits over a match holder. The little match holder has incised sides, so you can light a wax vesta match against it. Everything the Edwardian lady needed to visit the plumbing during the night. Underneath is incised 'Registered", however I think this is of European make, made for the export trade. Item measures 6 cm high by 15.5 cm front to back by 15.25 cm wide (approx. 2.3/8 inches by 6 inches by 6 inches). It has a small bruise/chip on side rim, otherwise excellent condition. Unusual pair of brass candlesticks - they have four little cameos around the base of each stick. The foot has an engraved pattern of acanthus scrolls with a triple chain surround to the foot. The same chain decoration also surrounds the sconces. The cameos are somewhat worn with age, and one is missing ( the brown background however, means that this is not immediately noticeable). The photo makes the candlesticks look crooked, but actually they are very straight. This curvature is caused by the lens. Candlesticks measure 18.5 cm high with a foot rim of 9.25 cm diameter. One has the card mssing from under the base - but this is a simple matter of cutting a new piece and gluing it in. Overall, condition is very good. Probably early to mid 20th century.   « Less
