Elegant small Edwardian period Antique Ladies Inlaid Mahogany Writing Table. Shown here with Biedermeier Style Chair Ref 9035 (available - please Contact Us for details). This pretty Ladies Writing Table has a brass gallery around the rear half of the beautiful figured mahogany top above three useful frieze drawers. The whole table being supported on square tapering legs and original brass castors and brass wheels. With original brass swan neck handles and inlay to the legs and drawer fronts this is a particularly well proportioned table. The rear is nicely finished but the table was originally designed to stand against a wall. Good quality Small Antique Writing Table by Edwards & Roberts of Wardour Street, London (stamped). Dating from the mid Victorian period this fine mahogany table has excellent colour and proportions. It can be used as a writing table, side table or occasional table or as extra work space in an office or study. It has a very good quality older tan and gilded leather writing surface inset into the moulded top and stands on fine reeded legs with original brass castors and wheels. A very pretty Antique Georgian Satinwood Reading Table.. This antique reading table has a satinwood crossbanded rectangular top and dates from the reign of King George III c1800. The top has a tilt adjustment offering four positions, three inclined and a flat table top as well. Standing on a delicate turned stem with beautiful downswept legs terminating in turned tapering feet this is a truly fine example of a small reading table from the Georgian period. Beautiful Victorian period Ebonised Writing Table in the Continental style. A stylish Victorian ebonised and ormolu mounted parlour writing table with a series of small drawers to the desk top structure and having turned and reeded legs with ormolu decoration, the legs being united by classically shaped stretchers. This fine table has a total of five drawers to top structure as well as a blind centre frieze drawer, each of the upper drawers having gilt handles. With original brass castors and white porcelain wheels this is a stunning piece of furniture. The writing surface is made of fine dark red leather.
