Originally the Ordinary and Standard Grades were done in cast Iron; the Etra Grades Ladies desks and Superior Grades were done in Berlin Bronze. Thus when we decided to make the molds for the entire Wooton line we thought it best to cast in bronze as it looks much better when placed on the desks. However we realize that not all desks need complete replacements so we will plate over the bronze (which makes a much clearer and better surface) to accomodate those who prefer cast iron.
