Vintage Scottish silver brooch or pin of two thistles, one with a purple amethyst glass thistle top, the other with an amber-yellow citrine glass top. It has a Scottish hallmark for Edinburgh - the date letter is almost unreadable, but possibly for 1951. Maker's mark is either R.W. & S, or H.W. & S. Comes with a pair of matching earrings - thistles and leaves with a purple glass faux amethyst stone. All have very nice detailng to the silver work. Brooch has a safety chain attached. Brooch measures 3 cm diameter. Earrings have screw-back fittings and measure 1.9 cm by 1.2 cm. Earrings are stamped "Silver" on the screw. All in very good condition. « Less

Attractive three stone amethyst ring made in 9ct yellow gold. There are two very tiny old cut diamonds at either side of the central stone. Face of the ring measures 7 mm by 15 mm. Size of central amethyst is approx. 5.5mm x 4 mm and the two either side are approx. 4.5mm x 3.5mm. Height of setting is 5 mm. Ring size is English M (USA size 6) with an internal diameter of 16.51 mm. Condition: Very good overall - there is wear to the facet edges of the amethysts commensurate with age and use. This is a lovely looking ring on the finger, being quite a substantial setting. TW: 4.07 g.

Bracelet has an internal measurement of 6 cm diameter.It is 3 cm high at the front panel and 1 cm high at the rear of the wrist. There are small pressure hairlines internally where the front panel has been attached but are secure at this time. 18ct gold antique ring, mounted with a ruby, two tiny diamonds and two tiny sapphires. Full British hallmark for Birmingham 1913, maker: D & F, for Deakin & Francis. Face of ring measures 7.5 mm by 14 mm. The ruby is approx. 2 mm diameter. The diamonds appear to be old single cut, and are about 1 mm or less in diameter. They are not open at the rear of the mount. The sapphires would be less than 1 mm each. All stones have engraved star or oval shapes around them, and are rub-over set. Shoulders are 4.5 mm tapering to a beveled band 2.5 mm wide at the rear of the finger. Ring size is English N+ (USA size 6.3/4) with an internal diameter of 17.12 mm. Excellent condition.
