Dainty tiny marcasite set into articulated sterling silver mount with six little amethyst stones and a faceted tear-drop amethyst as a pendant at the bottom of the necklace. Stamped 925 to the rear. Necklace is 4.5 cm deep at the bottom pendant, and has a total length of 42 cm. Excellent condition. « Less

Diamond-shaped hand painted portrait miniature on ivory of a woman with upswept hair and a Victorian style off-the-shoulder formal dress. White and blue overpainted highlights to earrings, necklace hair ornaments and lace of neckline. Brooch is stamped 800 (for 800 parts silver) which is a Continental Europe standard, most often German. Item measures 35 mm by 37 mm (1.3/8 inches by 1.7/16 inch).Excellent condition. Very stylish Art Deco cocktail watch, dating from 1930s plus. Stamped "925" (sterling grade silver) to the rear of the shoulder. The face and shoulders are mounted with little paste faceted stones, and look as good as diamonds. Engraved pattern to the sides of the watch case. Watch appears to be working well, but I have not had it overhauled so can't guarantee it.Shoulders and face of watch measure 56.50 mm by 11 mm (that is - all the area covered with the stones). Actual watch case measures 24 mm by 11 mm. Made for a small wrist, it is about 47 mm long in total (5.3/4 inches). The clasp is a slide clasp with a flip-over safety catch. Excellent condition to case and bracelet. Great Deco item. « Less

Kauri gum (New Zealand amber) necklace - large raw chunky pieces graduated with small pieces between each larger piece. This would have been a home-made necklace from gum collected. The pieces are all disparate with very irregular shapes and rough and smooth bits. Large necklace, and quite long. Sizes of larger pieces in centre are approx.47 mm by 15 mm and 27 mm by 12mm, graduating down to about 8 mm diameter at the rear of the neck. No clasp, continuous loop style. Total length of necklace is 725 mm. It is strung on nylon thread. (Kauri gum is the fossilized resin of the kauri tree, and is many thousands of years old. It was dug up from the ground mostly in the 19th century, and mainly in the north of the North Island of New Zealand). « Less
