Maker is Jones and Company, Worcester (England). Sterling silver Victorian pocket watch, good size, heavy quality with original heavy silver graduated-link fob chain, with key and T bar. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1894. Each link of the chain also has the sterling sterling stamp of the lion. T Bar is stamped lower case b and Lion Passant, probably London 1901. Face of watch has one tiny hairline in the enamel at the bottom of the seconds hand dial to the rim. Otherwise excellent. Watch appears to be running well, but it has not been overhauled, so no guarantees. Selling on consignment. « Less

Late 19th century lava cameo bracelet. Lava cameos were made from the lava of volcanic eruptions in the Italian region (Vesuvius, Etna) . They were popular tourist souvenirs in Victorian times, and are now very collectable. This one has 9 oval medallions, each with a detailed classical Roman head. Green/grey and terracotta colours, natural lava. The mounts are a low grade silver. Bracelet is 19cm (7.1/2 inches) long. Cameos are 2 cm by 1.5 cm (3/4 inch by 5/8 inch).
