Rare Red Anchor Chelsea miniature figure of a child, shown carefully holding a frond in one hand and cradling it in the other, draped in a red cloth and standing on a grassy mound, a short tree trunk to the rear for support.

References: Ref. Cheyne book of Chelsea 1925 exhibition, #112, illustrated pl16, for three similar figures described as Cupid. The style is very much in the Meissen manner, with a probable original source by J. J. Kaendler as yet unidentified. « Less

Meissen figure of Dionysus, modeled in a theatrical pose with one arm raising a bunch of grapes, the other behind his back, further grapes in his hair and a fruiting vine growing up a stump to his side, a deer skin draped across his back with complete head & antlers at the front.
Probably modeled by F Meyer, c. 1745
References: No other example has been found in the literature. ref. Yvonne Adams book - Meissen Figures-, which illustrates a Satyress which partners with this figure perfectly (Dionysus traditionally has a Satyress as a consort). This was apparently a table figure f
