A marvelous pair of antique Georgian cast bronze sconces, dating from the 1920’s. These double-arm sconces feature an elegant backplate ornamented with volutes and acanthus leaves, crowned with a loop finial and finished at the bottom with a baluster finial. Reeded, S-curved arms extend from either side to support simple bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A wonderful pair of antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Made and signed by Radiant, each sconce is crowned with an urn hung with garlands, atop an oval back plate. The backplate features a floret button in the center. At the base of the back plate, volutes connect the back plate to the double arm, which curves outward in a U shape. The center is ornamented with a diamond motif, flanked by florets and foliate detail. Each arm ends in a foliate diamond, atop which sits a cutout foliate bobeche. The bottom of each arm is embellished with a finial. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. A very unusual pair of antique bronze industrial sconces with their original glass shades, made and signed by Russell & Stoll Co., New York. These R & S Co. sconces came from the Hershey factory in Hershey, PA, and date somewhere between the 1930’s and 1950’s. They feature a fabulous curved design with a two-tone finish and shades that screw into the shade holders. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a great patina; the glass is also in excellent condition with just the expected fleabites around the rims. They have been professionally rewired. A magnificent pair of antique Neoclassical cast bronze sconces, circa 1905. These large three-arm sconces feature a rectangular backplate ornamented at top and bottom with anthemia; a reeded arm extends from the backplate, ending in a splendid Ionic column with an intricate acanthus bobeche at the top. Two volute arms, swathed in leaves, extend from either side of the column, each holding a cutout wax pan with a foliate candle cup. The bottom of the column is finished in a cluster of leaves with a finial below. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition; one sconce has two small cracks where the arm meets the backplate (pictured) which are barely noticeable. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 18 ½” tall, 12” wide, and project 12” from the wall.
