He requested that all gold, especially gold jewelry be donated to the cause of his conquests. Thus, it was fashionable to wear costume jewelry to show your active support. This bracelet was created to resemble a 22K yellow gold bracelet much in vogue at the time. The style and craftsmanship of this reproduction is wonderful.
