A stunning pair of antique double-arm sconces with prisms, in their original silver plate. Dating from the early 1900’s, these mirrored sconces feature a striking wheel-cut starburst in the center of the beveled mirror. The backplates have a silver plated border of laurel leaves with ribbons at the top and bottom. Two reeded arms descend from the bottom of the sconce, each holding a bobeche hung with icicle prisms and ornamented with a delicate border design. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with beautifully aged mirrors; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Four matching antique double-arm Spanish Revival cast iron sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original bronze wash. The backplate of each sconce features a crown at the top with volutes and foliate details below. A chevron crosses the center of the backplate, with a shield and a crown below. The sconce arms extend from either side of the shield, each supporting a crenelated bobeche with a crest below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. Three matching antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Retaining their original polychrome finish with turquoise accents, these sconces begin at the top with a triad of plumes resting in a crown. The back plate, which features a center floret button surrounded by a torsade border, is flanked with foliate detail and draped with swags. The U-shaped double arm is attached to the base of the back plate, and is accented with a floret at each end, holding an acanthus bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. One sconce has two small casting flaws in the arm (pictured), formed when the sconce was made. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. A wonderful pair of antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original polychrome finish with red and green accents. Made and signed by Radiant, each sconce is crowned with an urn hung with garlands, atop an oval back plate. The backplate features a floret button in the center. At the base of the back plate, volutes connected connect the back plate to the double arm, which curves outward in a U shape. The center is ornamented with a diamond motif, flanked by red florets and green foliate detail. Each arm ends in a polychrome foliate diamond, atop which sits a cutout foliate bobeche with red and green accents. The bottom of each arm is embellished with a finial. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A superb pair of antique cast iron exterior sconces, dating from the early 1900’s. The sconces have original handcrafted, wheel-cut globes adorned with a starburst pattern. They feature simple square backplates with a single arm, ending in an iron spike below with the shade above. The wall lamps are in very good antique condition with some chips around the rims of the shades, which are not visible when the shades are in place. There is also a shadow in the glass, which is barely visible and can only be seen at certain angles (pictured). The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 16” tall, 7” wide, and projects 10” from the wall.
