Beautiful Tiffany & Co. sterling silver ladle marked TIFFANY & CO STERLING M PAT. The ladle has a beautiful shape and design, it is in very good pre-owned condition. The top of the ladle has a 3 letter monogram MGF. The ladle measures 7-1/8 inches from the bottom of the ladle bowl to the top of the handle. Widest width of the ladle bowl is 2-7/8 inches. Sterling is 925 this is one notch above sterling silver. It is signed with a maker's mark next to the purity mark. In some small areas along the bottom of the box it has minor professional restoration unseen without magnification. The top of the box has a design that looks like two crossed torches and a bow. This is a rare and beautiful antique Odiot Paris sterling silver gravy boat. It is in mint condition, no scratches, chips or other defects. Famed silversmith for Napoleon, Odiot handcrafted pieces are unmatched! This gravy boat has an oval base, 8 1/2" x 6" with four feet. There is a removable liner for the gravy boat. The gravy boat is 8 3/4" tall, 7 1/2" long and 4 1/2" wide. The liner is 8" x 4 1/2" and is also sterling silver. The Odiot Paris mark is on the underside of the base as shown in photos. Will ship in an anti-tarnish cloth protective bag. Authenticity is guaranteed. Unfortunately I do not have a recent appraisal, but this item has been appraised as authentic.
