This is a gorgeous pair of antique Neoclassical mirrored sconces in their original silver plate, c. 1910. These double-arm sconces feature an arched mirror with a finely beveled edge, bordered on the lower edge in elegant acanthus leaves. A column-like arm receiver bowl at the base supports two smooth, silver plated arms with clear glass bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. This is a fantastic pair of antique exterior wall-mount lanterns with slag glass, dating from the 1920’s. These exterior sconces have a rectangular cast iron backplate with an arrow border; a squared arm supports a lantern with a steeply sloped roof. The four-sided roof features triangular copper vents. Each side of the lantern is ornamented with a whimsical copper urn reminiscent of Aladdin’s lamp, ornamented with a vine design, with a slag glass background. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The porch lights have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 10 ¾” tall, 4 3/8” wide, and projects 8 ½” from the wall. This is a fascinating pair of antique cast bronze Gothic Revival sconces with glass shades, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features a cast bronze rectangular backplate with a Gothic arch; a bracket-shaped arm with a trefoil cutout supports a shade holder hanging from a long chain. Each shade holder features a trefoil finial and supports a white glass shade ornamented with Gothic arches and trefoils. These single-arm wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired. The shades are in good antique condition with some chips on the rim of one (pictured) that are not visible when the shade is attached to the sconce. A fantastic pair of antique brass Art Nouveau single-arm sconces with original hand cut glass shades, circa 1900. The backplates of the sconces feature stunning Art Nouveau looped ribbon detail that is repeated on the sconce arm and on the shade holder. Each sconce has an original wheel-cut shade ornamented with clusters of grapes. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce begins with a volute loop at the top; below, the backplate features elongated, crossed fleurs-de-lis with a floral button in the center. A twisted column runs down each side of the sconce. The sconce arm is fastened to the backplate with a small flower, and features a foliate bobeche.
