These are four matching antique Neoclassical double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original polychrome finish over brass. The back plate features a sleek shield design, crowned with foliate detail flanked by volutes, with a garland of red and green leaves running down each side. A beautiful urn, ornamented with red and green foliate detail, supports the S-curved, fluted arm, which in turn supports a gorgeous polychrome acanthus bobeche. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 10 5/8” tall, 4 3/8” wide, and protrude 6 ¼” from the wall. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH PAIR OF SINGLE-ARM SCONCES; THERE ARE TWO PAIRS AVAILABLE. Matching antique set of Spanish Revival double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features a shield-shaped back plate with a center floret button and floral design. A triad of leaves rests near the top of the back plate, directing the viewer’s eye to a striking finial. Near the base of the back plate is the turn switch, ensconced in the center of an urn, from which spring five stylized blooms. The base of the back plate is finished in volute detail. A substantial arm extends from either side of the floret button, ending in a floret. Each arm supports a fabulous bobeche ornamented with floret and foliate detail and balanced below by a small finial. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with functioning turn switches; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a splendid antique figural gas light, dating from the 1870’s. The all-spelter lamp features an intricately cast Spanish Conquistador in armor, wearing a cape, boots, and a long sword. The man holds up the gas light as he would a flag. The entire figure is incredibly detailed, including even the ornamentation on his helmet. The light is in good antique condition; there is a thin portion missing from the round base (pictured) and the sword is slightly bent (pictured). These minor imperfections are hardly noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of the piece. It measures 20 3/8” tall, 7 ½” wide overall, and has a round, grooved base with a 6 5/8” diameter. This is a striking and rare late 19th century heavy bronze Gothic Revival lantern retaining its original patina. It has a cylindrical shaped body composed of six vertical trefoil-detailed straps that are intersected by and hand riveted to four horizontal bronze straps. The lantern has a cone-shaped crenelated top crowned by a large loop finial and is connected by heavy chain to a simple dome shaped canopy. Housed inside the bronze cage are the original, granite textured, milk-colored, curved glass panels. The light fixture is in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks to the glass. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 12 ½”, the length of the lantern only is 31” and the overall length is 77”.   « Less

This charming, ca. 1920’s, cast bronze three-light chandelier retains its original deep patina. It has a narrow hexagonal body encircled by three scrolled straps, that is finished with a large, volute detailed, top finial, and a hammered bottom finial. The faux riveted chandelier arms sprout from the lower part of the chandelier and extend out to accept the nicely cast bobeches with chevron detailing. This splendid light fixture would be appropriate for any Bungalow, Spanish Revival or Tudor décors. The chandelier is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired, and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These fantastic, brass sconces are original to the 1920s. The shield-shaped back plates begin with an urn top finial, which rest upon two volute style curls. The banded back plate displays foliate details, and comes to a point just below where the sconce arm convenes with the plate. Ribbed and having a U-curve, the sconce’s arms both begin and end in an ornately cast acanthus adornment. These sconces feature unique bobeches that are two parts. The base of the bobeche, which meets the acanthus cap of the sconce’s arm, is ornamented with shell and swag fine points. The second piece, which serves to fit into the bottom, provides a modestly bordered candle cup for the pristine paper candle covers of these elegant antique sconces. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, have been professionally rewired, and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These are 10 3/8” long, 5” wide and protrude 6” from the wall.   « Less

These gorgeous brass sconces date to the 1920's, and display the original polychrome finish. With an oval back plate supporting an ornately cast and painted arm, these sconces are lovely and understated. The arm scoops down to support a simple bobeche, which displays foliate garland. The base below the bobeche features an adorable floret. These are in excellent condition, have been professionally rewired, and they come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. They are 9 ½” long, 3 7/8” wide and protrude 5” from the wall. (the “holes” at the top and bottom of the back plate accept the mounting bracket and are filled with pebble-style sconce buttons; these buttons would not hold their place during image making. However, once hung on the wall, the “holes” are completely covered.)   « Less

This attractive pair of 1920’s cast iron Spanish Revival sconces retains the original, marvelously aged, bronze colored finish with dark red and blue accents. The sconces have crest-shaped backs with decorative shield centers and superbly cast knights with flowing plumes of feathers. Towards the bottom of the back plates are faux riveted straps that accept crown shaped wax-pans. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This gorgeous and unique ca. 1920's chandelier is constructed of copper over iron and brass with gold plating. The body of this chandelier is open frame style and begins with a leafy loop finial. Beneath the finial, five bent and curls copper plated iron bands are button, using florets, to a baluster style center piece. The bands swing down, stopping at an inverted copper dome, and curve up to support gold plated brass bobeches. The piece finishes with a gold plated decorative bottom finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition, it has been professionally rewired, and it comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is 18” at it’s widest; the length of the chandelier only is 19”; the total length is 34”.   « Less
