Nice Fenton Daisy and Fern art glass water pitcher and 6 tumblers in blue and white opalescence. Attractive and in excellent condition on all 7 pieces. Circa 1910-1920. Pitcher is 8- 3/4 inches tall and is about 7 inches wide. Clear applied handle with the flared crimped lip. Tumblers are 3 3/4'' tall. Great water set. Fine early Galle stick vase with a profusion of spider chrysanthemums etched on the sides of the vase. This is probably one of Galle''s first attempts at true cameo glass. His earlier works had the ruffled top and bottom like this piece but were enameled rather than acid etched. You can see the beginnings of his skill in glass in this piece as well as the newness of the art. The is a ''run'' in the internal acid dip that frosted the glass as this was one of his first attempts to create this process. Nice old vertical chinese style signature that is an early sign as well. This beauty stands 16'' tall and is in perfect condition with no damage or repairs what-so-ever. Color is a bit off. With auto color the vase goes a little darker than the first pic the real color is in between the 2 colors. Circa 1890 and as early a piece of Galle cameo glass as you will ever find. Fenton''s large Marigold Carnival Glass fruit or master berry bowl, three footed in the claw and ball highly detailed motif, in the Butterfly & Berry pattern. Superb iridescence with the desired color flashes gold, amethyst, and reds. Bowl measures 9.5 inches with a sawtooth ruffled rim. Iridized exterior with wide band of alternating butterfly and berry intaglio pattern. Interior of iridized smooth walls with intaglio garland of berry and leaves and a bottom medallion of an intaglio butterfly. Extra crisp and well cared for with no damage.
